Tier One Aztec Facility Services is proud to announce that we have been awarded the inaugural Stellar Award by ExxonMobil. The Stellar Award is in recognition of our company’s response to an infectious disease pandemic. Throughout 2020, a small team of Tier One Aztec employees worked double shifts to cover all the sites in the Baton Rouge area and even increased their workload to meet the changing needs of a pandemic environment.
“They worked without complaining throughout 2020 and are currently working into 2021 to keep all of us safe as we ride out this pandemic,” said Ron Williams of ExxonMobil. “In addition to their daily tasks, they performed duties that were outside of their normal scope, including delivery of cleaning supplies…They performed double duty and cleaned everything, everywhere,” said Williams.
These additional services included performing emergency services and services outside of normal hours, including emergency cleaning on Christmas Eve, three times on Thanksgiving Day, and cleanings on weekends.
“Thank you, Aztec team, for your commitment and dedication to safety,” said Williams. “I want you to know that we see you, we notice you, and we appreciate all that you have done and are continuing to do to keep all of us safe during this pandemic. Thank you for going above and beyond the call of duty!”
